Thompson Maintenance is a trading name of Thompson Properties & Maintenance Limited, registered office 132a High Street, Bromsgrove, England, B61 8ES. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website.

What information we collect

When you send us an enquiry, book an appointment or contact us, we may collect:

• your name, phone number and email address
• your postcode or property address
• details of the work you need, and the type of property
• any photos you choose to upload

How we use your information

We only use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
• arrange and carry out appointments
• provide certificates, records and invoices for work we've done
• keep the records we're required to keep by law

We will not use your details for marketing, and we will never sell or share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Our legal basis

We use your information because you've asked us to respond to an enquiry or carry out work (taking steps to enter into, or perform, a contract), and where we need to keep records to meet our legal obligations, such as gas safety and tax records.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where we need to, for example with the services that run our website, email and appointment booking (such as Google Calendar), or where the law requires it. These providers only use your information to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we delete your details within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep your records for up to 6 years, in line with our legal and tax obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need to keep it. To do any of these, email hello@thompsonmaintenance.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
